About Bac Mór
Bac Mór Cottage is a newly built self-catering apartment, awarded 3-stars by the Scottish Tourist Board. Bac Mór is designed to be an extremely comfortable, cosy and easy-to-manage base for holidaying on Mull all year round. It is situated on the north-west coast of Mull , overlooking Loch Tuath, and is 15 minutes drive from Dervaig, 25 minutes from Salen and 30 minutes from Tobermory, the island's main town.
There are a number of excellent walks out from Bac Mór which take advantage of the peace, wildlife and incomparable landscape of this unique area.
Facilities
Bac Mór offers one double bedroom with a bathroom en-suite, as well as an open plan kitchen/sitting room. A practical porch gives space to off-load boots and coats.
The sitting area has a television with integrated DVD and video. (Sky Freesat is also installed.) French doors with large windows take advantage of the absolutely stunning views, so that you can enjoy the panorama of Loch Tuath and the Treshnish Isles even whilst sitting on the sofa!
The Bac Mór kitchen area is compact, but very well provided-for, with an electric hob and oven, fridge, microwave and toaster. All crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils and ecological cleaning materials are provided.
The bedroom is well equipped, with good storage space, and a very comfortable double bed. Duvet, bedlinen and towels are all provided. The bathroom has a full-sized bath (with shower above), sink, WC and a large heated towel rail.
Bac Mór is centrally heated, double-glazed and well insulated, so is ideal for holidays at any time of the year. All electricity and heating costs are included in the weekly rental.
